Steps to follow:

1. Go to the official government website (pmsuryaghar.gov.in.)

2. Click "Apply for Rooftop Solar" or use the provided direct link.

3. Enter your mobile number and confirm it with the OTP received.

4. Choose your state and district.

5. Select your electricity provider from the list.

6. Type in your Electricity Consumer Number and your name.

7. Add your email address.

8. Upload a copy of your electricity bill and a photo of the rooftop or area where you want to install solar panels.

9. Enter the captcha code and hit the submit button.

Step 2:

- Log in using your Consumer Number and Mobile Number.

- Fill out the form to apply for Rooftop Solar.

Step 3:

- After receiving approval for feasibility, have the solar plant installed by one of the approved vendors listed by your electricity provider.

Step 4:

- Once the installation is complete, submit the plant details and apply for a net meter.

Step 5:

- A commissioning certificate will be issued once your electricity provider installs and inspects the net meter.

Step 6:

- After receiving the commissioning certificate, submit your bank details and a canceled check through the website. You will receive your subsidy in your bank account within 30 days.
